- Agnes Naa Momo Lartey, Member of Parliament for Krowor and Minister-Designate for Gender, Children and Social Protection, reassured Ghanaians that the NDC administration's Orphan and Vulnerable Support Scheme will help street children, trafficked children, and other vulnerable minors without being influenced by politics.
- The scheme, outlined in the party's 2024 manifesto, aims to provide a safe environment, support family reunification, and address issues like child trafficking, with a focus on helping those in need regardless of political affiliation.
