- Ras Mubarak, a member of the National Democratic Congress, criticized Onua TV for allegedly inciting a deadly clash at the AGA mine in Obuasi by allowing its platform to be used to promote violence, particularly through comments made by one of its hosts, Captain Smart.
- Mubarak emphasized the importance of discipline and accountability in Ghana's media space, warning against using freedom of speech as an excuse for reckless behavior and violence.
