- The 6th TONSE ALLIANCE Council of Leaders meeting took place in Lusaka, Zambia, where they admitted the Forum for Democracy and Development party as a member and invited the Zambia Must Prosper party to join.
- They also made appointments for key positions within the Alliance and expressed readiness to defend themselves against violence from the UPND party and potential police brutality.
