- Former Chawama MP and current chairman of the Tonse Alliance cooperative won't campaign for Edith Nawakwi's candidate in Pambashe because NCP, the party they adopted, couldn't find a candidate.
- The Tonse cooperative wanted all their candidates to use NCP, but Nawakwi disagreed, causing tension with Lungu.
