- Defence Minister Angie Motshekga will go before Parliament's SCOPA in February to address governance issues and corruption findings in the Department of Defence, including staff using personal emails for official matters and lack of consequence management for wrongdoers.
- The SIU found irregularities in contracts with EOH for Microsoft software licenses, leading to wasteful expenditure, with only a portion of the money recovered so far, and disciplinary actions and legal referrals have been made due to poor financial management and non-compliance with rules.
