- David Skosana, a member of Parliament, has been fined R15,000 and had his salary reduced for verbally abusing a journalist and failing to properly disclose his directorship of a media company doing business with the state.
- He will also face a 15-day ban from Parliamentary meetings for his aggressive behavior, which the Ethics Committee deemed unacceptable, especially towards women.
