- The Ekurhuleni City council's programming committee will meet to discuss a motion of no confidence against Speaker Nthabiseng Tshivhenga, brought by the Democratic Alliance (DA) who accuse her of neglecting council legislation.
- This is the second time this year such a motion has been considered, with hopes from the DA that Tshivhenga will be removed from her position to restore the council's integrity.
