  • The African National Congress (ANC) is working to get support for a budget that includes a 0.5% increase in Value-Added Tax (VAT) from its Government of National Unity partners.
  • Despite concerns and disagreements, the ANC believes the VAT increase won't cause the unity government to collapse.
