- AfriForum accused the DA and Freedom Front Plus of being used by the ANC in the Government of National Unity to approve ANC policies, urging them to reconsider their involvement after the BELA Act was signed into law.
- AfriForum and Solidarity plan to legally challenge parts of the act and believe the DA and FF Plus need to decide if they want to be part of the government or opposition during discussions on the National Health Insurance.
