- ActionSA has stated that the African National Congress (ANC) should not approach them to join the Government of National Unity unless they are willing to reduce the large size of the Cabinet.
- Party leader Herman Mashaba emphasized that they will not join the current government setup and have already declined an invitation from the ANC.
