- Activist Joseph Aura has objected to Mutahi Kagwe's nomination as Agriculture CS, citing mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic and alleged loss of KSh 7 billion during his tenure as Health CS.
- Aura questions Kagwe's accountability, lack of qualifications in agriculture, and suggests his nomination is politically driven.
- Kagwe is scheduled to appear before the Committee on Appointments for further review.
