- Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi has asked the DCI to investigate Olive Gardens Hotel due to a rise in abductions, claiming that some people are using the hotel to plan fake abductions to cause fear among the public.
- Wamumbi also called on former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua to release any abductees and stop causing unnecessary panic among parents.
