- The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) denied claims that Nyambaria High School was ranked as the top school in the 2024 KCSE exams, stating that a viral social media post with rankings was fake and misleading.
- KNEC emphasized that ranking schools and students was abolished in 2020 to prevent unfair competition and unethical practices during exams, advising the public to ignore the circulating list.
