- Kwaku Ansah-Asare, a former Director of the Ghana School of Law, believes the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) committee should be dissolved because he thinks it is being used for political reasons rather than its intended purpose of recovering stolen state assets.
- He warned that if the committee is not scrapped, it could cause harm and embarrassment to President John Dramani Mahama, who established it to investigate alleged misappropriation of state assets by officials of the former Akufo-Addo administration.
