- Immigration officers in Bunkpurugu, Ghana, stopped a smuggling attempt of 25 bags of cocoa beans going to Togo through an unauthorized route.
- The officers, led by Rev. Edwin Adjetey Doku, acted on a tip-off and successfully intercepted the smuggled goods and arrested those involved.
