- The Kekeli Muslim Community is asking President John Dramani Mahama to reconsider appointing Mr Mohammed Abdul Salaam as the Managing Director of the National Lottery Authority because Islam forbids gambling.
- They believe that appointing a Muslim to this position goes against Islamic values and may lead to harm for Muslim youth, and they hope the President will address this issue promptly to strengthen trust with the Muslim community.
