- Finance Minister Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson stated in Parliament that the financial sector is still facing challenges despite the GH¢30.3 billion spent on a clean-up exercise by the previous government.
- He mentioned that an additional GH¢10.45 billion is needed to address remaining issues and risks, including a GH¢2.2 billion capital injection for the National Investment Bank and the Agricultural Development Bank.
