- The National Peace Council reports that discussions between the Kusasi and Mamprusi communities in Bawku are showing positive signs of commitment to dialogue, supported by the UNDP and the Government of Japan.
- They emphasize the importance of responsible communication to avoid spreading false information that could worsen tensions, and stress that lasting peace must be built and maintained by the communities themselves.
