I remember how President Omar Hassan al-Bashir was sent out of office, and ever since then, Sudan has known no peace. If this new deal between the civilian and the military leadership can hold and consequently put an end to the current deplorable situation that's is currently obtainable in in the country, I would say it's a welcomed progressive step. But the questions I find myself asking now are, howfar are both parties willing to go to maintain the peace? Can this current structure of the country withstand an election?
In any event, I'm rooting for Sudan's peace.
