- More than 3.5 million children in the Horn of Africa are in danger of leaving school due to the ongoing drought, with the number of at-risk children tripling in the past six months.
- The crisis is particularly affecting girls, who are more likely to drop out and face challenges like child marriage and hunger, highlighting the urgent need for support to keep children in education and prevent a lost generation.
