- The Agriculture Minister of Zambia stated that the government did not overpay for maize purchased from Tanzania, buying it at the same price as local producers.
- Out of the 195,000 metric tonnes contracted, 155,000 have been delivered, with 40,000 remaining to be delivered, as reported during the 2025 AGRITECH EXPO in Chisamba District.
