- President Edgar Lungu stopped disciplinary actions against Patriotic Front Acting President Given Lubinda and Secretary General Raphael Nakacinda for meeting with Socialist Party President Dr. Fred Mmembe, appointing Lubinda as Acting President of Tonse Grand Alliance and removing Zumani Zimba from his roles.
- Sean Tembo, PeP President and Tonse Alliance Spokesperson, warned against joining the new WhatsApp group directed by the Acting President, instructing all Presidents and officials to return to his old WhatsApp groups to maintain unity within the Tonse Alliance.
