GOVT COMMENCES COUNTRYWIDE MOBILE ISSUANCE OF NRCs TO RUN FOR THREE MONTHS AT A COST OF K440 MILLION, TARGETTING 3.5 MILLION ZAMBIANS
  • The Zambian government is starting a mobile National Registration Card (NRC) issuance project that will run for three months, costing K440 million and aiming to register 3.5 million citizens.
  • This initiative will provide NRCs to eligible Zambians aged 16 and above, especially those in rural areas, to support economic participation and electoral processes, with a focus on transparency and integrity.
