- PARAMOUNT Chief Chitimukulu has encouraged the Bemba people to continue their cultural practice of smearing powder on the Ngoni during the mourning of Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV to show their kinship.
- However, Chief Madzimawe warned that this practice has boundaries and should not involve children smearing powder on elders.
