- The Democratic Alliance in Gauteng is urging the government to prioritize children's safety to prevent a repeat of last year's tragic deaths of over 20 children due to food-borne illnesses, with many of the deaths occurring in Gauteng.
- With schools reopening, they emphasize the importance of everyone working together to keep children safe and call on parents to be more involved in their children's education to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.
