- Around 600 people in Durban are protesting about service delivery issues like electricity and housing, leading to road closures and unrest in the area.
- The protests started when the municipality cut off electricity in an informal settlement, and there have been reports of looting and road blockages in different locations, prompting the police to call for reinforcements.
