- These affordable devices were developed through a partnership with East Africa Device Assembly Kenya Limited and aim to enhance digital inclusion in the country as part of the government's digital literacy program.
- HMD Global, known for Nokia devices, also planned to assemble smartphones in Kenya to address high prices, but there are no updates on their launch yet.
