- Former Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri, who was previously aligned with Rigathi Gachagua's camp, now appears to be supporting President William Ruto instead.
- Ngunjiri has shifted his stance, expressing support for Ruto's policies and Cabinet nominations, while also criticizing politics of regionalism and seclusion.
- Meanwhile, Gachagua is hinting at a coalition with Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to gather enough votes to potentially defeat Ruto in the future.
