- Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya is taking legal action against MP Kimani Ichung’wah for accusing him of involvement in abductions and murders, demanding an apology within three days or facing defamation charges.
- Natembeya's legal team argues that Ichung’wah's remarks have damaged the governor's professional reputation, causing public ridicule and harm to his standing, and has requested a public apology in three major newspapers if Ichung’wah fails to retract his statements.
