- Senate Speaker Amason Kingi declined Nyandarua senator John Methu's request for a special Senate sitting to discuss the increase in abductions of government critics, citing procedural issues.
- Methu raised concerns about the rise in abductions and accused the National Police Service and Directorate of Criminal Investigations of being involved, describing it as a violation of constitutional rights.
