- The prices of common household items in Kenya have gone up in the past month, with inflation reaching 3.6 per cent, marking the fourth consecutive increase since October last year.
- Items like maize flour, potatoes, sukuma wiki, tomatoes, and beef have seen price hikes, along with utilities such as electricity, cooking gas, and local flight tickets.
- Despite some slight decreases in prices for sugar and beans, overall inflation has been on the rise, increasing by 0.9 per cent since October 2024.
