- President William Ruto plans to list shares of the Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) on the Nairobi Securities Exchange by September 2025, with the IPO structuring being finalized by the Privatisation Commission for approval by the Cabinet and Parliament.
- This move is part of Kenya's strategy to privatize state-owned enterprises, attract investment, and improve governance, with the aim of raising funds for expansion and diversification while giving Kenyans the opportunity to own shares in a key infrastructure company.
