- Online cab fares are set to increase by 50%, with the minimum charge rising from Ksh220 to about Ksh330 due to a new fare multiplier introduced by the Organization of Online Drivers (OOD).
- This change will affect all online cab brands starting from midnight on August 15, and is attributed to rising operational costs, including fuel and maintenance.
