This is beautiful. President Kagame is so committed to improving the lives of Rwandans. You look at all the giant strides this country has taken since a genocide almost wipe it off the map and you can only but wonder at the complete turnaround. The Karama model village is commendable and such zealous drive to serve the people is new among African leaders. Back home in Nigeria, we are saddled with an old, out-of-touch president who has been more of a figurehead since he assumed office.
I agree Yemisi. This is indeed beautiful. I so happen to be a Nigerian too, and the exploits of President Kagame and the obvious progress of Rwanda has reached us here. If one thing is clear in the present government Rwanda, it is the fact that the President, Kagame, is not afraid to do the needful to effect the betterment of the country. As for Nigeria, he-who-must-not-be-named has driven us several years backwards in infrastructural development and other aspect of governance. It's a shame.
The new Rwanda is a model for other African nations, and President Kagame is obviously and consistently a force of progress. I've read different stories and progress reports from Rwanda and I've been pumped full with hope. If he can do it (and he's doing it), other leaders can too (if they want to). The new Karama Model Village just recently inaugurated by President Kagame is another move in the direction of progress. We'll done Kagame.
