I feel very sad and deeply angry reading this. The treatment of women in Sudan violates every single right that makes them human. You can't sit in public places? You can't wear trousers? Are we still in civilization? The Sudanese women are really suffering some of the worst forms of injustice and harassment. I hope this protest, despite the risks, brings needed changes fast. The risk is so much, especially under such a violently oppressive government. They are fighting for their rights and deservedly so. They should not be treated like second-class citizens, not given out in early marriages and at least enjoy equal payment with men. Things that women the world over enjoy freely. I am glad that Sudanese women abroad are joining the fight and drawing more attention to this oppression. Eventually, It will all be worth it, When they are all free from Al Bashir's hard-handed rule.
