    Realization is an extreme sport sometimes. The revelation that more than half of the people in the African continent are still without any form of internet access is a huge setback for globalization and development. It's also reassuring that between in the last 13 years, great progress have been made in this respect. This is why I'm especially glad that the two IT giants, Facebook and Google, are doing the most to maintain this progress. There is more progress to be made ahead.
