Nice read. African tech hubs are growing and expanding at an exponential rate but over time, there have been too many African versions of existing US businesses models who have not tailored their offerings to the needs of the content. I like that Co-Creation Hub (CcHub) and many other African tech hubs are beginning to take steps in the right direction through smart application of technology to meet Africa’s challenges in education, health, and governance. For too long, we in Africa have depended on consumption and not developing solutions. It is exciting what the future holds for Africa if this vibrant sector keeps expanding all over Africa as fast as it is in Sub-Saharan Africa.

It is simple really, any country that wants to move forward in the 21st century must take technological innovation seriously. It is impressive to see now that Africa is starting to take innovation in technology seriously. More work still needs to be done. African must move beyond the consumer mindset, and start to create value and solution, if it is serious about sustaining this technological progress. This hub is a fine start, and it will be reassuring to have this hub in Rwanda replicated in more Africa countries as soon as possible.
