Six years to launch a Mars probe is an amazing feat. Of course, they have a lot of examples to draw from and it’s much easier now than it was 20 years ago. The number can get even lower with how open space companies are about certain parts of their technology and building processes. I wonder which African country will be the first to launch one of these probes from scratch? (Iirc South Africa was involved in NASA’s Mars 2020 probe)
