This startup wants to fix the internet disparity in Africa, beginning in Kenya, Niger, Botswana and Senegal
  • An American startup called Telelift has created drones the size of a dining table that act as "flying cellphone towers" to bring internet to areas with poor connectivity.
  • The drones, tethered to the ground, can stay in the air for at least a month and are being deployed to provide internet access in regions like Kenya, Niger, Botswana, and Senegal.
