Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaayy! I'm still scouting!
Throughout this Total AFCON, this is the happiest moment for me. The whole 93 minutes was just one long adrenaline rush for me. I'm so glad we won, especially since that humiliating loss to Madagascar. Ighalo came knocking first. I must admit that I got scare when the Cameroon team replied with two goals I'm less than 4 minutes. However, my hope soared when Ighalo and Iwobi replied with two astounding goals to seal the deal. South Africa should watch it now because we are coming! We are Nigeria!
This was one exciting and enthralling match. Probably the first with such feeling since AFCON2019 started. Cameroon came into this game branded as favorites to qualify. Even foreign pundits and commentators gave Nigeria no chance. Who would blame them? We've been really poor and rode our luck to get here, moreover Cameroon were the holders and looking to retain the trophy, but this match, this was a fight from start to finish from out players and the reward is a tough match against Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the quarters. A repeat of AFCON 2000 and we will be fine.
