How soothing and blissful to hear those two words: affordable healthcare. The government of South Africa, as well as the ones of Southern Africa and the African continent should learn to use examples like this to inform the model of their healthcare policy formulation and implementation. What's the use of healthcare if majority of the people it was originally meant for can't afford it? African countries can do better. Even as one who is often mindful of 'foreign saviours,' I'm glad this is happening in my continent, and I daresay South Africa is both lucky and blessed. Good bless the good doctor.
This is very commendable I must say. Healthcare has to be affordable for all, not for a few rich but for all. Affordable healthcare has become a rhetoric used by politicians to trick the people into voting for them but time and time again it's shown sadly though expectedly, that healthcare is not anywhere affordable as they claim. The work of this doctor is clearly of one who knows the system could be better if the government wanted it to but has taken it upon himself to be the better person.
