During an age when social media platforms are significant towards promoting one’s craft, Olumide stands on top of the pile. Thanks to the artist’s efforts to make his work known over Twitter, he has gained recognition from a major celebrity, and this could do much towards promoting his career. This situation shines a light on the fact that social media is not always negative as many would portray it as being.

My people will say "God don pick him call" when things like this happen to people like Waduba. This story inspired me because i am a creative person as well looking for my "God don pick him call" moment. Waduba is a very gifted hyperrealism pencil artist and deserves the recognition from Kevin Hart and possible fame coming his way. Social media is a great platform that has transformed lives and only a couple of retweets has rewarded this guy in ways people can only dream of. I advice young talented people to put more work into social media promotion. Keep posting and sharing on Facebook, Twitter and so on. There's always an opportunity to get your voice heard or for people to see your drawing or painting.
